Some restaurants are so pretty one wonders whether food has been sacrificed for ‘instagramability’. I confess I was somewhat nervous of this when I steppped into Clos Maggiore and saw the faux jasmine flowers branching all over the ceiling. It’s very pretty. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food and the service were excellent. It made for a lovely birthday meal with my family.
